Electrician
The Electrician unlocks electric production upgrades. Two guides by the same author recommend the fuel savings: about twice the metal per firewood in one example, and 12 grilled nibblers per firewood in another. These are different recipes, not conflicting multipliers.

An upgrade, not a new toy line
The specialists guide and the Korean walkthrough agree on the unlocks: electric Desalinator, electric Scrapsmith, electric Grill, and the Bio-Boiler. You still recruit this person by radio, after the Radio DJ has a station, so this is a mid-game call rather than an opening rescue. The effect that makes the guide call the Electrician the strongest is efficiency. A survival guide measures one firewood inside a wood generator at about 2,880 Eels, two minutes at 24 Eels a second, and says the electric grill then turns out 12 grilled nibblers against 1 from the wood grill. Both guides are by Ryvaken Tadrya, so this is one independent source family. The roughly twofold example concerns smelting metal; the 12-to-1 example concerns grilling nibblers. They describe different recipes, not a disagreement. The 2,880 figure is a player’s measurement.
Electric buildings also hurt the beauty score less than the smoking versions. That is a quality-of-life line, not a numeric beauty table. Per-building power draw is still unpublished, which is why the buildings table has an empty power column.

Order I would actually build
Poles, a generator and a battery before the first converted workshop. An electric grill with no Eels is a decoration. Eel-ectronics are the crafted part behind the battery and the solar panel, so the resource page for that component sits next to this one. The Chemist’s oil chain is a different fuel, not a replacement for this person. You can run an oil generator and still want the Electrician, because the oil figure and the conversion upgrades are separate rows. Achievement Power Tripping is the Steam icon people use when they want a portrait. There is no official character art, and I am not cropping a screenshot into a face.
Questions
Does the Electrician add new buildings or upgrade old ones?
Mostly upgrades: the desalinator, scrapsmith and grill you already understand, plus the bio-boiler.
Is 2,880 Eels official?
No. It is one guide’s measurement. The two cited guides have the same author and count as one independent source family.
