Flotsam left Early Access on 4 Dec 2025. Since then: a storage quality pass on 29 Jan 2026, the Support Pack on 23 May 2026, hotfix 1.0.1f7 on 9 Jun 2026, and a weather experiment still on the 1.1 branch.

Timeline I will put a date on

Early Access is 26 Sep 2019, from Wikipedia and the wiki. Steam’s 1.0 date is 4 Dec 2025. Wikipedia says 5 Dec 2025. Both stay. The news feed then shows a run of 1.0.0 hotfixes from 7 Dec through 20 Dec 2025, a 1.0.1 storage quality-of-life update on 29 Jan 2026, more hotfixes through 1.0.1f7 on 9 Jun 2026, and the Support Pack DLC on 23 May 2026 together with 1.0.1f5. The pack’s known content in the news is the Support Vessel Townheart. I do not have a full pack inventory, so I will not pad the sentence.

Weather is not the live version

A developer post on 29 Oct 2026 describes weather still on the experimental branch, build 1.1.0e04. Five names are in that post: Freezing Winds, Cold Fog, Heavy Rain, Tropical Rain, Heatwave. They are local to a region and can be forecast. No release date for 1.1 is in the post. I will not invent a month. The Epic giveaway that started 5 or 6 Nov 2026 is a store event, not a patch, and it is documented on the free page.

What version should a guide assume?

1.0.1f7, 9 Jun 2026, unless a sentence is explicitly about the experimental weather branch.
