How to read the table

The 43-row inventory comes from a public building codex, cross-referenced with the Fandom research snapshot on 7 Nov 2026. The codex repeats wiki data, so those two sites count as one source family rather than independent confirmation. This is a documented subset, not a claim that the 1.0 game contains only 43 buildings. Categories in that codex are Town, Workshops, Water, Food, Boats and Power. The wiki also has a Decoration page whose only entry is the Buoy Lamp, so decoration is not a seventh filled column. Nine buildings have a footprint (beds and houses at 2 by 2, storage yards, the 4 by 4 Research Station, walkways from 1 by 3 to 1 by 7). Forty-two have a cost. Twenty-nine have an output or a storage number, such as a Battery holding 2,500 Eels or a Storage Yard holding 45 items.

Weight, the research that unlocks the building, and power draw are empty for the whole list. That is why there is no “heaviest building” ranking and no production calculator. Sort by the columns that have values. Empty cells sort as unknown, not as zero. Costs I trust enough to quote in prose: Desalinator 8 floaters and 4 planks, Solar Still 16 and 6, Battery 4 floaters, 4 planks and 1 battery, Large Storage Yard 6 floaters, 6 planks and 3 metal plates.

Blank cells mean no public source was found. They are not estimates. Checked 2026-11-07.

Status counts source families for the row, rather than confirmations of every field. Expand it for provenance. The wiki and its derivative codex count as one family. Cost sorting compares the written material lists alphabetically; unknown values stay last in either order.
