Two scores that do not mean the same thing

On 7 Nov 2026 the Steam store said Very Positive: 84% of 2,058 English reviews were positive, with 4,407 recommendations in total, and the recent 30 days sat at 86% from 69 reviews. Metacritic lists two critic records. Its current page data gives the aggregate score as null; there is no supported Metascore to print. Metro GameCentral scored 80 on 7 Jan 2026 and called it a relaxing, nuanced survival city builder with an optimistic tone. The Indie Game Website wrote on 27 Sep 2019, with no score, that the Early Access build had a strong skeleton and little meat. Those records cover different versions and cannot be averaged into a meaningful current score. One is explicitly an Early Access review.

Epic’s page showed 4.5 that same day and did not print how many ratings sit behind it. SteamCharts showed 192 people in game, a 24-hour peak of 241, an all-time peak of 3,210 and a 30-day average of 171.69. Those are one reading of a moving counter.

Who it is for

I would point a friend here if they want a colony sim where you set priorities and the town sails itself, not a first-person raft with sharks. A full achievement guide claims 99% of the 42 achievements fit in about 15 hours, and the last one wants another 40 to 50 hours. That timing is one player’s guide, not a studio quote. Pollution arguments from December 2025 are on the pollution page, dated, and I do not treat them as the current patch.
