Does Flotsam Have Multiplayer?

What the store actually lists

The Steam category row I read contains Single-player, achievements, controller support, cloud saves, Family Sharing, and Remote Play on Phone and on Tablet. It does not contain Co-op or Multiplayer. Wikipedia independently lists Single-player in the mode field. Remote Play streams the game you already own to another screen. The other person is watching or controlling your session. They are not joining a shared ocean.

I looked for a developer sentence that says co-op will never be added. I did not find one, so this page stops at “no co-op mode is listed or announced.” The cited mod listings do not establish any multiplayer conversion.
